Yesterday while shopping groceries for my mom, I kinda lost track of time.
I ended up going back home at 6pm.
6pm!!!
And I’m sure you’re wondering to yourself, what’s wrong with 6 pm? Everyone goes back from work at that time, why is this such a big deal?
Well, that’s EXACTLY why it’s such a big deal to me.
You see, 6pm is the time when EVERYONE goes back from work. Which means crowded roads which will take you 2 to 3 times as long just to get to anywhere.
And wasting time unnecessarily, well that really gets on my nerves.
See after I quit my job and started doing my business online, I have everything I ever needed. I have a car, I bought cars for my parents (which caused me some scolding because mom said I wasted too much money), and I even paid for my brother’s medical degree.
But then I realized that time is something I DON’T have.
And so that led me to become obsessed with saving time. I time my outings EXACTLY when everyone is at work.
And that worked!
Because now I don’t have to spend 2-3 hours getting stuck in traffic. Come to think of it, maybe I DO have OCD.
But hey, nobody’s perfect right?
As Buddha or some Ancient leader once said, “The trouble is, you think you have time”. So you when the next opportunity comes by, it’s always better to grab it than waiting for the next one to arrive.
