Everyone needs to read meaningful books at least once in their lives in order to have a clearer goal.
And not just any book at that.
You need to read specific mind-opening books about how life and entrepreneurship intertwines because this will give you a clearer grasp towards your success in life.
But what books do you need to read?
Well here’s are my 5 personal favourites that I would recommend anyone especially entrepreneurs to read:
1) How to Win Friends and Influential People by Dale Carnegie
Don’t take this book for granted due of its age (since 1936) because until now, it is a very impactful book that will help you launch your career better.
You will learn so many tricks and skills in this book about how to understand people better and bend them to your will.
Scary content, true but did you know that almost all the successful entrepreneurs out there apply the skills found in here?
To date, How to Win Friends and Influential People remains my number one favorite.
2) Purple Cow by Seth Godin
Worried about tough competition always getting the best of you? Then read Purple Cow!
In this book, Seth Godin teaches you about how to transform your business and marketing so that your product will be one of a kind.
Just read the title itself for instance, isn’t Purple Cow a fun and attractive title?
3) Magic of Thinking Big by David Schwartz
Sometimes the reason your business isn’t doing so well is because that your goal isn’t high enough.
When your goal isn’t high enough, you will not have the tendency to push yourself further so because of that, I highly recommend you to read this book.
It will help you create a more powerful and strong goal in your life, so detailed that you just need to keep moving and never stop as what other successful entrepreneurs do.
Powerful advice there, so read with caution!
4) 4 Hour Work Week by Tim Ferriss
The 4 Hour Work Week isn’t a book for people who wants their business to remain small.
It’s a book for those who wants to catapult their businesses further and faster.
Containing inside are tips and tricks on how to achieve more with less time by taking smart moves.
Highly recommended if you already have a business moving.
5) Lean Start-Up by Eric Ries
If you haven’t had a business yet and you’re just about to start, then this book is a must-read for you.
Reading so will save you lots of time and lead you to the right path by showing you mistakes that other entrepreneurs tend to do, how to avoid those mistakes, and how to bring your business up fast and be at the top of your game.
Conclusion
There are of course many other success books that you should read apart from these 5 that I’ve recommended but there’s no harm in getting extra knowledge don’t you think?
And if these books managed to get a university student to start a business, why won’t it help you? Never stop reading as knowledge is endless.
As Tyrian Lannister from the Game of Thrones would say, “A mind needs books as a sword needs a whetstone if it is to keep its edge.”
